Looking for LDS friends Hello, I consider myself a religious person, and i am kind and compassionate. I am currently unemployed, but I am also working on my bachelors in health care administration. My hobbies include writing, reading, word games and board games, cooking, listening to music (mostly 70's abd 80's). I like to be outside in the sunshine. A couple of my goals are to complete my education and obtain an administrative position in the healthcare field. I also hope to become a published author someday. I write poetry and children's stories, and I'd also like to write a novel.

I was raised in upstate New York, and I've lived here in Colorado for almost 25 years. I love the mountains and the sunshine! I have overcome many obstacles in my life, and I believe that has made me a stronger and better person. Some obstacles I've overcome include: loss of my mother at age 11; living in fostercare through my teen years; and having an alcoholic, abusive father. Life has taught me a lot. I am compassionate and caring. I like to be with people. I like to help people. I have faith in God, and I try to do what is right.

For a first date, I think it would be nice to share a meal. We could go out, or I would be very happy to cook for you. A movie afterward might be nice, whether at home or at a theater. The main thing is to have an opportunity to talk and get to know each other while doing something we both enjoy.
