I am first and foremost looking for a good friend. Someone who has direction and motivation.
I am looking for someone who knows what they want. I am looking for a Lady, not just any woman. I wake up every day trying my best to overcome this worlds challenges, and turn them into opportunities. I have a list of what I am looking for, and strive every day to be those things as well. I want to find someone who has high expectations for themselves. A Lady who respects her mind and body, and expects others to do the same. I was adopted, and raised in the church. I did not have a desire for the gospel to be in my life until I went out in the world, walked all kinds of walks, and learned that the only one worth walking is the one with our Savior. I have developed, and continue to develop, a relationship with my Heavenly Father. I expect the Young Lady I meet to have that same viewpoint. If we do not have our eyes set on the same goal, which is Eternal Life with our Heavenly Father, then how could we expect to get there? I have lived of the world, and it did nothing for me. It does a lot in the moment, but that instant gratification is not worth the things we lose in life. I want to meet someone who is okay being wise, and doesn't have to learn everything the hard way. I have done enough of that already; so together, we can be equally yoked and each others' weaknesses will play on the others' strengths. In other words, I want to be with someone with a good heart. With a kind smile and the ability to handle the troubles life throws at us. I want a Lady who is willing to do her part, so that I might be better able to do mine. I want someone who likes to be goofy, but can be serious and intellectual as well. I love pleasing the Young Lady I am with. Spoiling her and surprising her. I am a romantic, but I don't fake it so I am looking for someone who can accept the things I do for her and know she deserves it. I love the outdoors, I'm a boy scout/tree hugger combination.
